The purpose of the Blue Devil Fund is to support the athletic department by generating revenue that will assist all UW-Stout intercollegiate athletics. The betterment of the student-athlete experience is at the heart of all projects.
To ensure that UW-Stout athletics moves forward, we must increase private funding. The financial backing that comes from alumni and fans is critical in helping us to pursue our goals.
By joining the Blue Devil Fund, you have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of UW-Stout’s 450 student athletes and to enhance their athletic experience.
UW-Stout athletics promotes integrity, competition and responsibility and enables outstanding young men and women the opportunity to develop skills and character to last a lifetime.

Can I direct my gift to a specific sport?
Yes, you may support a specific team or program; however the top priority for the Blue Devil Fund is unrestricted support of General Athletics. Supporting General Athletics gives the Athletic Department flexibility to use your gift to meet our most pressing needs and take advantage of opportunities as they arise. For example, to enhance all sports for national championship travel, equipment, and assistant coach salaries, etc.
Giving Opportunities (All gifts are tax-deductible)
- Cash Gifts: Donations of cash, check, credit card or securities are acceptable and appreciated (cash gifts can be annual or one time).
- Gifts-in-kind: Gifts of goods or services can be of great financial assistance by reducing expenses of UW-Stout Athletics.
- Capital Gifts: To stay competitive with our peers, there is a need for capital gifts to provide top-notch facilities and equipment.
- Will/Bequest: There are various types of will/bequest donation options, such as charitable trusts, gift annuities, charitable remainder trusts, charitable lead trusts, or
- charitable remainder unitrusts.
