The University of Wisconsin-Stout sports information office handles all media requests for Blue Devil coaches and student-athletes. Media, including newspapers, internet outlets, television stations, radio stations and photographers, should contact sports information director Layne Pitt for information regarding access and credentials.
Logos/Downloads:
Official UW-Stout athletics logos are available. If you desire a high resolution logo, please contact sports information director Layne Pitt. Those wishing to use the official university logos must abide by the UW-Stout Identity and Publications Standards Policy.
Radio Lines:
Visiting radio lines are available at Don and Nona Williams Stadium (football), Johnson Fieldhouse (basketball, volleyball, gymnastics) and the Dunn County Ice Arena (hockey). They are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Additional limited space is available for cellphone usage.
Radio lines are not available at baseball, softball and women's soccer facilities, but space is available for cellphone usage.
To obtain use of a line and press box space, contact Layne Pitt.
Internet Connections:
Wireless internet connections are available in the press box at Don & Nona Williams Stadium and Johnson Fieldhouse. A limited number of hardwire internet connections is also provided. Special accomodations need to be made to access an internet connection at the Dunn County Ice Arena. Media are welcomed to connect during the event and must contact Layne Pitt to obtain access through the use of guest media passwords.
Live Stats:
Live Stats are available on-line for football, men's and women's basketball, hockey, soccer, gymnastics, baseball and softball for home events. Live stat monitors are provided for football and basketball. Check with Blue Devil opponents for Live Stats at away events.
Statistics:
Halftime statistics are available for football, men's and women's basketball and soccer. Hockey stats are provided between periods. Final statistics for all home events are generally available about 15 minutes after the conclusion of the event.
Post-Game Results:
Post game results are sent via e-mail at the conclusion of an event. Results will include the game result and score, a box score and play-by-play, if desired. To be included on the post-game result list, contact the sports information office. Results and statistics are posted on-line within 20-30 minutes of the conclusion of the event. Game stories and photos will be posted upon conclusion of the event within a reasonable amount of time..
Webcasts:
UW-Stout provides live webcasts of home events for football, men's and women's basketball, hockey, volleyball and gymnastics. Delayed broadcasts are expected to be available in 2009-10 for soccer, softball and baseball. A limited live broadcast schedule for soccer, baseball and softball will also be available. Archived broadcasts will be posted within 48 hours of the conclusion of the contest. Blue Devil webcasts are student produced.
Audio Clips:
Beginning with the 2009-10 season, audio clips of interviews with head coaches will be available on-line. The clips are expected to be available early in the week.
Media Guides:
Printed Media guides guides will no longer be available as the information is available on-line. A limited media guide will be available on-line in a PDF format for most broadcast sports. A limited amount of print material will be available at UW-Stout home events for media members only. Game Day programs will be available for the general public and media at the majority of home events. Printed materials can also be obtained for media members only upon request by contacting the sports information office.
